Hi, I'm Pablo! I was born in the 90s, in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I work as a Software Engineer, specializing in software architecture and full-stack development for web platforms. Not too long ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I led payment projects as Base24 Classic specialist.

I’m driven by the joy of understanding how things work; collaborating with people; and devoting the necessary time to ensure high-quality results.

Abandon PC Store

PCs and Hardware e-commerce

Founder

My first professional venture involved leveraging my knowledge to set up a specialized hardware business. My main audience was the gaming community in rural areas, where the available options were much more limited. I specialized in sourcing components with the best price-quality ratio at the time, handling logistics, preparing the systems, and shipping. I also took care of the brand image and marketing through specialized forums.

This is a tricky one. I don't believe there's a useful way to quantify knowledge. So instead I thought about how comfortable I feel using these languages/techs/methodologies. I've just included what I consider relevant, so if not listed, just ask!

About me

Technology and social interactions are the two fundamental pillars of my professional life. Not as opposing concepts, but as complementary ones. Just to give a few examples, my enthusiasm for technology grew by participating in hardware forums and their communities. And my notions of leadership are deeply influenced by tango, which, coincidentally, I started dancing in a seminar at my engineering school. I perceive technology through this intersectional perspective.

In my opinion, technology is one of the drivers of social change. Whether that change is for the better depends on us, those who work with it. That’s why we need more diverse and inclusive software development. One that seeks to solve real life issues and focuses on collaboration. This is reflected in my preference for projects that generate a positive impact on their users and promote team culture. And I know that positive change is possible.

After the pandemic, I split my time between Argentina, Italy, and Germany. What initially seemed like a challenge turned into incredible flexibility. Throughout my recent projects, I had the opportunity to work remotely, asynchronously, and independently of my location, without sacrificing team spirit or productivity.

For those of us who have loved ones on both sides of the Atlantic, working like this allows us to be where we want or need to be.
That is technology in the service of people.
That is what I want to achieve.

So tell me, what is your tech utopia?
